Basement Finishing, modernizing a 1920's Shaker Basement

The basement of this wonderful stone house did not resemble the rest of the home's beautiful interior.  Following the flooding of the basement in spring 2016, a backflow valve was installed to prevent any future flooding.  With their basement showing it's age and the backflow valve installed, this family was confident that it was a good time to turn this space into usable square footage that the entire family to enjoy for years to come.

Our client took on an extensive remodel of a 1980’s home in Akron.  The entire house was renovated while the client waited to mive in and we were  able to get the job completed in time for the new home owner to move in.
